Main purpose of the Senior Accountant role :

As a Senior Accountant, your core responsibilities include month-end general ledger close procedures, trend analysis and the preparation of supporting schedules. Working closely with key members of the accounting department on significant areas of the financial statements, both foreign and domestic. Have the opportunity to work with business partners on new initiatives, as well as, have the ability to integrate such strategic initiatives into current accounting and business processes. Work closely and assist cross-functional teams with the integration of current financial systems into more streamlined process flows.

Position responsibilities and daily tasks:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.• As part of the monthly accounting close, prepare journal entries, analyze results and prepare general ledger reconciliation schedules by reviewing general ledger activity and obtaining a full understanding of the account activity to support month-end reported balances to ensure financial statements are complete, accurate and in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)• Analyze certain income statement accounts by reviewing expense trending as well as accrual analysis for completeness of liabilities and expense capture as well as providing input with regards to variances• Assist in all aspects of inventory analysis, including reconciliation of key reserves and roll-forward preparation• Perform monthly expense trend and budget vs. actual analyses for review with key department personnel• Assist in the review of contracts and other transactions for appropriate accounting treatment• Participate in financial audits. Complete requested materials and assist in preparing assigned schedules and gathering requested support for the audits• Document policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility• Special projects as needed

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:• This is a perfect opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, technically capable, holds a deep desire to solve problems, and efficiently delivers a quality work product in a fast-paced, dynamic environment• Strong analytical and accounting skills• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results• Strong organizational skills, professional curiosity, and work ethic• Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to make suggestions/revisions to current processes• Intermediate to advanced experience in Word and Excel• Organize and manage multiple priorities; deadline driven

Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics• Strong Excel skills and Microsoft Office products• Strong time management, analytical and communication skills• Understanding and ability to meet tight monthly deadlines• 3-5 years working experience in audit or accounting

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $75K to $95K.
