We are recruiting for Qlik Developers with DOD Financial Management experience supporting the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process. This position requires experience supporting budget analytics in a federal government environment. Qualified candidates will have prior experience working with Qlik Sense and Databricks. Experience with Advana platform is a plus.
This position is a direct hiring working for our client and offers a competitive W2 salary plus benefits.
Role and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Create and update data pipelines and conduct data ingesting operationsQuery, discover, export, and connect dashboards/analytic models to data on the Advana (DoD big data) platformDevelop and translate functional data requirements to assemble datasets and program related business logicEnsure the data catalog is updated with new data being ingestedMaintaining relationships and communicating with key client personnel to understand business operations, processes, and functionsDevelop and run reconciliation scripts to support customer data data and use casesAdhere to management's Agile Development process including JiraOther duties as assignedRequirements include (but are not limited to):
U.S. citizenshipCurrent security clearance (secret at a minimum)Bachelor's degree is preferred; additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeExperience supporting DOD Financial Management activities including PPBE3-5 years of development experience with business intelligence including Qlik Sense dashboarding, development, and mashupsExperience with back-end database management and programmingEffective written and verbal communication skills including developing and delivering presentationsExperience deploying Business Intelligence and data environmentsProficiency with scripting in SQL and Python to query databasesExperience with web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, Node.js, Engima.jsExperience using DataBricks to perform data transformations or modelingExperience using Cloud Native ServicesQlik Sense certification is preferred (Qlik Sense Architect, Qlik Sense Analyst, Qlik Sense Trainer)Ability to support on-site work requirements (3-5 days/week depending on project assignment)
