University of HartfordSenior Web Content ManagerJob Description:Assumes responsibility for managing, implementing and maintaining a cohesive content strategy for hartford.edu through the execution of website edits, maintenance and technology, and managing the overall health of the University's website and web tools. Serves as lead and subject matter expert for the University's Content Management System (CMS), Cascade and works with internal constituents to design and maintain individual departmental and/or collegiate websites in an effort to comply with University web and brand standards as well as applicable University policy. Performs all duties in full support of the University's mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University's students.Essential Job Duties:Formal Education:

Bachelors Degree required.Work Experience:

Normal office situation. Remote working options available.Knowledge and Skills:

The ability to work effectively with diverse groups. Technology knowledge: MS SQL Server, ASP, ADO, HTML, XML, RSS, JavaScript, VBScript, AJAX, CSS, IIS, Flash Video. Required software knowledge: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics.
