The Talent Acquisition team supports the University mission through the development and implementation of policies, programs, and practices that attract, retain and reward faculty and staff.

About the Position:

The Talent Acquisition Assistant will facilitate the successful hiring of faculty and staff by providing high-level customer service skills to internal and external customers at the University.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment CoordinatorAssists with sourcing and recruiting candidates for difficult-to-fill positions when needed;Coordinates search committee assistance to include scheduling interviews, booking candidates, travel arrangements and facilitating logistics to ensure a positive candidate and department/unit experience for high-level executive searches;Screens and interview candidates as needed;Provides support to other Talent Acquisition teammates;Processes job offers based upon information received from teammates and other departments.With this offer, you will work in conjunction with Workforce Planning and the Onboarding Administrator; andOther duties as assigned.Customer Service

Serves as a point of contact to applicants in person, via email and by phone;Serves as a point of contact for ATS support to departments/units with questions regarding recruitment processes, posting requirements/issues, search committee inquiries, and other Talent Acquisition related questions that are directed to the department; andDevelops strong relationships while coordinating with internal colleagues (workforce planning, HR consultants, and others) to ensure that all customer needs are met in an effective and successful manner.Metrics/Reporting/Data Upkeep

Ensures that all postings are updated as needed and applicants are moved to appropriate workflow states as positions are filled/closed; andMaintains all search and recruitment-related files, accounts and access.Applicant Tracking System Administration

Serves as an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Administrator.In this role, applicant will serve as a liaison for upgrades, issues and requests; andServes as a user accepted tester for ATS related enhancements.Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience;Knowledge of internet and software applications including Microsoft Office products and HR systems;Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing customer service.This includes setting and meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction;Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;Ability to edit correspondence for grammar, spelling, punctuation and tone;Effective oral and written communication;Ability to effectively complete work and multi-task with frequent interruptions;Ability to maintain confidentiality;Ability to effectively interpret policy, procedures and best practices;Ability to maintain moderately complex records;Follow verbal and written instructions while working under pressure to meet deadlines;Helps to resolve problems and complaints with internal and external customers; andUnderstands and can interpret policy and procedures.
