is seeking a full-time Senior Engineering Designer with 5+ years’ experience to work out of our Jefferson City office.
Requirements for position:
Associate or BS degree or higher in Design and Drafting Technology.
Task leadership, self-discipline and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills in working with clients, sub-consultants, and project stakeholders.
Self-starter, able to work independently, and as part of a project team.
Task implementation and completion.
Mentoring team members for professional growth.
Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
Intermittent travel, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Types of Projects include:
Civil Design;
Water Resources;
Storm Water Management;
Geotechnical Investigations;
Construction Quality Assurance;
Wastewater Collection & Treatment;
Environmental Permitting And Compliance;
Environmental Site Assessments And Remediation; and
Solid Waste Management.
Work Assignments may include:
Utilize AutoCAD To prepare plans, drawings and figures;
Cost Estimating / Quantity Estimating;
Maintaining Digital File System;
Site Reconnaissance / Initial Evaluations;
Construction Observations; Flow Measurements;
Data Collection / Site Assessment Duties;
Conceptual Design;
Design Development; and,
Preparation Of Construction Documents.
