Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Senior CADD Designer, we'll count on you to:Create designs independently under broad direction from the Project Engineer or Project Manager on various design projectsBe responsible for their discipline model and will generate the BIM elements, based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project scopeCreate and maintain the discipline model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output for that disciplineTo be skilled with the software used to produce the designs identified in the Digital Delivery requirementsHave mastered their specific discipline and how it interacts with other discipline designsHave an advanced understanding of architectural/engineering documentation and plan presentation for all disciplinesMentor and develop the Digital Design staff within their disciplineAccurately model BIM elements in the correct special constraints of the modeling environment, using the current 3D softwarePrepare detailed drawings, layouts, & diagrams of the design within the project scope, schedule, and budget, using the current 3D softwareMaintain the discipline model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, and sheetsProduce discipline specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling outputMonitor, improve, and maintain company standards and model health. Coordinate the design with other discipline models through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processesExecute all Digital Delivery requirements identified on the projectMentor and develop Digital Design staff within their disciplineContribute to the development of the business class digital needsDirect preparation of drawings by other BIM Technicians of lesser experience, or take direct supervisory responsibility for BIM staff as neededComplete projects with distinctive design features differing significantly from BIM Technician precedents as neededWork with clients or contractor representatives as neededPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsRequired Qualifications

Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experienceA minimum of 10 years related industry experienceAdvanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure.Advanced skillset of 3D Coordination toolsCompetency of Microsoft Office products and communication toolsAdvanced understanding of engineering or architectural conceptsKnowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specificationsExcellent communication skills, attention to detail and organizational traits are essentialLeadership and mentoring skillsets requiredWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
