Responsibilities & Qualifications:The Novelis Corporate Communications team is seeking a

Senior Communication Specialist!

The person in this role will report to the Manager, Communications. This position will help enhance the organization's reputation and increase understanding of our business among various external and internal audiences, including customers, media, community partners, and employees. The role will also serve as a point person on media relations and develop marketing and public relations campaigns for the company’s beverage packaging and automotive business, as well as its sustainability program.

Responsibilities:

Help develop marketing and public relations campaigns that raise Novelis’ profile, with a focus on beverage packaging, automotive, and sustainability.

Assist in positioning the company with tier 1 media and partnering with public relations agency to increase awareness.

Assist in crafting content for use by the beverage packaging and automotive business lines sales team, as well as for sustainability.

Create content to inform employees about Novelis’ activities with customers and within the industry.

Create content for company channels, including website, social media, newsletters, intranet, etc.

Assist with planning and carrying out company events, including conferences, tradeshows, and internal leadership meetings and webinars.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or other Communications field.

7+ years of proven ability in a similar role.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in effective targeted messaging to a diverse audience.

Experience in B2B communications.

Experience with digital, print, and social media.

Ability to translate complex concepts and strategies into accessible language for multiple audiences.

Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize daily tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven capability of developing and maintaining internal and external relationships.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a marketing communications agency with a B2B focus.

Experience with WordPress and other content management systems.

Experience with graphic design principles and software.
