Wage Range:

$82.15 - $110.92Position Summary:The Trauma PI Coordinator works in collaboration with the Trauma Program Manager (TPM) and Trauma Medical Director (TMD) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the Trauma Program performance improvement (PI) activities, including data collection, analysis, trending, and benchmarking of data outcomes. The Trauma PI Coordinator is responsible for implementing the Trauma Program Improvement Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) Plan and monitoring adherence to the Trauma Program clinical practices guidelines, policies, and procedures. Additionally, the Trauma PI Coordinator demonstrates clinical competence, acts as a clinical resource, and assists in staff development.Qualifications:Education:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Public Health (Master of Science preferred).Work Experience:

Minimum of 3-to-5 years of clinical nursing experience in the emergency or critical-care settings. An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed prior may be substituted for the noted educational and clinical experience requirements.Computer Skills:

Proficient in database management, statistical reports, and the Microsoft Office/365 software suite.License/Certifications:Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses Certification (ATCN) within 12-months of hire.Trauma Outcomes Performance Improvement Course (TOPIC) within 12-months of hire.Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), or Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) within 2-years of hire.
