The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of substantive experience in employment-related and/or class action litigation, with a strong background in defending employment discrimination claims, EEOC/DOL matters, and wage and hour claims, including class actions. The candidate should also have experience counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies, and assisting clients with employment issues. Superior academic, research, and writing credentials are required, as well as GA Bar admission.Key ResponsibilitiesDefend clients in employment discrimination claims, EEOC/DOL matters, and wage and hour disputes, including class action lawsuits.Provide legal counsel to employers on federal and state employment law compliance, including advising on workplace policies and procedures.Draft and review workplace policies, employee handbooks, and other employment-related documents.Assist clients with various employment issues, including employee relations, terminations, and workplace investigations.Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed written analysis and legal opinions.Represent clients in administrative proceedings, mediation, arbitration, and court trials.Develop and implement legal strategies for managing and resolving employment disputes.Stay current with developments in employment law and provide clients with up-to-date legal advice.Qualifications & RequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.4-6 years of substantive experience in employment-related litigation and class action lawsuits.Experience defending employment discrimination claims, EEOC/DOL matters, and wage and hour claims.Background in counseling employers on employment law compliance and drafting workplace policies.Superior academic credentials and excellent research and writing skills.Admission to the Bar in Georgia is required.In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.Proven experience in handling employment discrimination, EEOC/DOL matters, and wage and hour claims, including class actions.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Proficiency in drafting and reviewing employment-related policies and documents.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and regulatory bodies.Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple cases and deadlines.A desire for trial work and experience in representing clients in litigation.CertificationsAdmission to the Bar in Georgia (required).EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.Strong academic performance and credentials are essential.Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive compensation and benefits package, including:Medical and dental insuranceRetirement plan optionsPaid Time Off (PTO)Performance-based bonusesAdditional perks and benefits
