About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on driving client engagement and retention across every stage of the customer journey, ensuring that clients feel supported and empowered throughout their experience with Thriveworks.

This is a high-impact role, driving revenue for the business. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies aimed at enhancing client relationships and maximizing lifetime value. This is a strategic position requiring a deep understanding of customer behavior, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing tactics. This is a brand new function at Thriveworks and you’ll have the opportunity to build a lifecycle program from the ground up!

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage lifecycle marketing strategies that support customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Analyze customer data to build and optimize segmented, personalized marketing campaigns across email, SMS, and other direct marketing channels.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, analytics, and creative, to align lifecycle marketing initiatives with broader business goals.

Lead A/B testing initiatives to optimize messaging, design, and targeting strategies continually.

Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics including CAC / ROI, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Implement CRM strategies that improve customer retention, reactivation, and satisfaction.

Build customer journey maps to identify gaps and opportunities for better client engagement.

Manage lifecycle marketing automation tools and platforms to streamline communication and personalization efforts.

Act as a thought leader in lifecycle marketing, staying updated on industry best practices, tools, and trends.

Skills / Qualifications

Proven experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or customer engagement, preferably within the healthcare or wellness sectors.

Strong understanding of CRM systems and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce MarketingCloud, Marketo).

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

Experience with segmentation, personalization, and testing strategies for optimizing the customer journey.

Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.

Ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail in execution.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or a related field.

Proficiency in marketing automation tools, data analysis, and performance tracking.

Experience in healthcare is a plus.

Experience with Salesforce MarketingCloud (fka ExactTarget) is a plus.
