Position DescriptionThe Property & Casualty Insurance team is looking to staff client engagements with skilled Guidewire Business Analysts. We are looking to staff using a combination of existing Property & Casualty Insurance Vertical members and new additions.Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a senior BA, you will:Reporting into the Requirements Manager for performing business analysis functionWork in a fast paced cross functional agile (Scrum/SAFe) work environmentLead requirements for Guidewire PolicyCenter, Integration and Conversion functions.Work with client SME to elicit business and technical requirements.Conduct and facilitate workshops / JAD sessions, etc., with internal and client stakeholders; Seek timely approvals from the client SME / stakeholdersGather requirements for “Guidewire Rating” module (Rate book, rate table, rate routines)Document requirements specifications for data analysis, data mappings for Guidewire, third party integrations and transformationDevelop functional specifications in the form of User Stories, process flows, use cases, data mappings leveraging tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Rally, etc.,Conduct user story / sprint demonstrations at the end of sprint / releaseParticipate in agile sprint ceremonies, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospective sessionsConduct end user training by means of workshops, training guides and operation manualsWork with globally distributed teams across geographies for the purpose of deliveringWork with internal development, testing teams to support requirements clarifications throughout the project executionWork with Requirements Manager, Scrum Master and Program Manager for various project activitiesWhat you will bring?
Excellent Domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance to understand and analyze the business needs of the customerDetailed knowledge of Guidewire applications specifically PolicyCenter and RatingExperience in documenting specification for Rating (Rate book, rate table and rate routines)Experience in data analysis, data mappings for Guidewire and third party integrationsExpertise in creating functional specifications in the form of User Stories, process flows, use cases, data mappingsExperienced at gathering, defining, and organizing business and functional requirements including acceptance criteria for use by developers and testers to implement and test functionalityAbility to lead and facilitate the requirements gathering sessionsEliciting requirements and scope using client interviews, document review, legacy analysis, survey and translating client requirements into agile user storiesCollaboratively work closely with business product owners, Actuaries, Architect, developers and testers to ensure the solution is built in accordance to defined requirementsIdentifying, capturing, resolving or escalating risks, issues, assumptions and dependenciesStrong business judgment, leadership and integrity: He/she should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business problemAbility to work in the global delivery model and be a liaison between the client and software development team across different geographiesExperience in working in a fast paced Agile (Scrum/SAFe) and multiple stakeholder environmentsExposure to Insurance Policy Data ConversionImplementing Guidewire PolicyCenter - Personal Lines of Business for a US carrier is an assetQualifications:

10 – 12 years of experience in delivering a wide range of technology solutions across the Insurance IndustryAt least 5-7 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter, RatingExperience in writing specifications for Rate book, rate table and rate routinesHands-on experience working on Guidewire Advance product designer, data dictionary, underwriting rules framework etc.Experience in data analysis, data mappings for Guidewire and third party integrationsExcellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skillsNice to have:
