Pioneering nucleotide research since its inception, we are now leading the way in the rapidly expanding mRNA market.Your next role as a Miracle MakerMaravai Life Sciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Human Resources department as a Sr. HR Business Partner to support across three east coast Maravai LifeSciences branded companies; Cygnus Technologies, Glen Research, and Alphazyme. As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will ensure that the site leaders have a trusted partner who can serve as a sounding board, positively challenge their ideas to develop the best solutions, and most importantly provide a perspective as they propose, develop, and execute solutions.In this role, you will be an integral partner to the businesses, partnering with the General Managers and their leadership teams to grow these three businesses. You will direct efforts to attract, retain, and develop a high-performing and engaged workforce. As the sole HRBP for the East Coast, you will provide support across the full spectrum of Human Resources activities from adherence to applicable state and federal laws to employee relations and strategic partnership across all levels of the organization.This role requires up to 60% of travel, primarily within NC, FL, and VA, with quarterly visits to Maravai Headquarters in CA.How you will make an impact:Support current and future business needs through effective development, engagement, and retention of talent.Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver:Compensation planning that appropriately compensates and rewards outstanding performance.A Performance Management system that ensures effective employee feedback.An engagement survey process that allows employees to voice their thoughts, fostering a two-way communication framework.A Talent Management system that identifies high-potential talent and organizational needs.A comprehensive view of opportunities to advance diversity and inclusion.Partners with Management and the Talent Acquisition team on recruitment and selection process.Ensures HR strategies and initiatives are aligned with the overall business objectives.Identifies opportunities to partner with people leaders with engagement strategies.Assists in the fair and quick resolution of employee relations issues.Partners with benefits to communicate and facilitate benefit plan roll-out and utilization.Partners with the Learning & Development team to identify training needs, implement training programs, and monitor effectiveness.Utilizes Data and Metrics to develop insights that inform and influence decision-making and program development.Other duties as assigned.The skills and experience that you will bring:Bachelor's Degree in related field is required. Masters in related field strongly preferred (Industrial Relations, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, MBA, etc.)5+ years' experience as an HR Business Partner or Generalist working with all levels of employees and management including C-Suite executives.The ability to travel 50-60% of the time is required.Intermediate to expert skills in Excel and PowerPoint are required.Proven record in project execution.Demonstrated ability to articulate and frame issues in ways that lead to effective resolution and solutions; demonstrated ability to use metrics and data to create insight.Ability to act either as an employee advocate or business driver based on the situation.In-depth knowledge of local, state (NC, FL, VA), and federal employment regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance.
