What You Will Do
Solar PV, DC and AC schematic designsSingle line diagrams and stringing layoutsConduit and feeder schedulesRooftop solar electrical and mechanical layoutsDC string calculations and general electrical AC distribution calculationsCoordination with other construction trades and disciplinesBack check of own work for accuracy and completeness before submission to othersWork closely with the Prime Electric Operations Project Manager to coordinate the design criteriaPerform other duties assigned by the Director of EngineeringReview plans and technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates under the supervision of the Chief EngineerWork on the design and ongoing progress of a project, including the coordination of the project with other team membersProvide technical design, consultation, information, and assistance to internal and external customers.What You Will Need to be Successful
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar fieldExperience with AutoCAD, Revit & Navis Manage a plusExperience with industry manufacturer design tools (i.e. Solaredge designer, Ironridge design tool, ClawOS, etc.) a plusProficient in MS Word & Excel
