https://www.dsh.ca.govJob Description And DutiesUnder general direction of the Chief Counsel, Deputy Chief Counsel, and Assistant Chief Counsels the Attorney IV will handle the most difficult, complex, and sensitive legal issues involving the Department of State Hospitals (DSH). The Attorney IV is a legal specialist in employment policies and procedures, the monitoring of employment and general litigation, and development of litigation strategy, and has applicable widespread knowledge in privacy, patient cost recovery, workers’ compensation, hospital policies and procedures, and legal research and opinion drafting. The Attorney IV must operate with minimal direction. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by Chief Counsel, Deputy Chief Counsel and Assistant Chief Counsels.Special Requirements

The position(s) require(s) a Licensed with California State Bar License.
