Job Description
CrossBoundary (CB) is currently hiring an Environmental and Social (E&S) Specialist to join CrossBoundary's team in Latin America. The Specialist will provide support in assessing environmental and social risks, impacts, and required mitigation measures for projects seeking support from Development Finance institutions (DFIs). The Specialist will also monitor the environmental and social performance of active DFI projects across a range of finance products in the Latin American region. The work may be performed partially off-site.
Requirements
5 years of experience in environmental and social impact assessments with a focus on international standards in developing countries.
Specific experience with IFC Performance Standards is required.
Expertise in a relevant field such as environmental science, geology, sociology, or anthropology is preferred.
5+ years of experience working with DFIs or the private sector in Latin America.
Must be fluent in Spanish.
U.S. citizenship required.
