We are looking for bright software engineers interested in extending and adapting our products for Applied’s defense and national security customers. Our Application Software Engineers have a unique mix of software expertise, domain knowledge, and execution-driven mindset. Using these skills, our engineers work closely with autonomy developers to ensure that Applied’s products are providing maximum impact to advance customers autonomy initiatives. This is an important role for the company, bringing together our product and engineering expertise with our customer-centric culture.At Applied Intuition, you will:

Work closely with customers to understand their development needs and use cases for autonomy to propose effective use of Applied’s productsAdapt Applied’s products as required for specific customer use casesEnsure customer needs are supported by broader engineering teams through effective prioritizationCollaborate with our sales teams to gather requirements through detailed technical discussions and workshopsExplore new product development areas driven by strategic understanding of customer landscapeLead product deployments on government and customer networksWe're looking for someone who has:

2+ years of experience as either an application engineer or a developer with experience interacting with end-customersFamiliarity with best practices in large-scale software developmentStrong communication skills and focus on solving customer problemsActive TS/SCI ClearanceNice to have:

Prior background in defense-focused software sales and technical supportExperience in defense OEMs or suppliersPrior work in autonomous vehicle development domainsPrior work in software simulation
