This will be a HYBRID role based out of the Banfield Pet Hospital headquarters in Vancouver, WA.Salary Range: $75,029 - $103,165 (DOE)Summary and Qualifications:The primary purpose and function of the Sr. Specialist, Talent Acquisition is to manage the sourcing, recruitment, and selection process for assigned functions/regions, with a focus on priority, leadership, and innovation for ensuring security of top talent for positions at Banfield.This position performs full lifecycle recruiting and provides the highest level of staffing services while guiding clients/hiring managers and candidates through the selection process.Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.Organize, lead, and communicate effectively regarding the day-to-day recruitment operations for assigned client groups through the development and execution of full life cycle recruitment plans and strategies.Partner with senior leadership to identify functional needs and workforce-planning strategies.Conduct initial interviews to ensure qualified candidates are referred to managers.Perform selection function including pre-screening resumes and candidates, advising hiring managers, and driving the offer process.Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers’ interactions, and other recruiting activities in the applicant tracking system.Meet established hiring targets and manage client relationships.Drive facilitation of continuous improvement via measurement tools and recruitment analytics.Ensure proper protection of candidate data and compliance with governmental regulations and company policies.Develop search strategies leveraging creativity and political savvy.Source active and passive candidates through networking and direct sourcing.Build networks with strong leadership talent in the marketplace.Retain and manage relationships with additional recruiting support.Represent Banfield for recruiting purposes at networking and industry events.Other job duties as assigned.Special Working Conditions:Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.Project timelines may require more than 40 hours per week.Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, and language ability to perform duties proficiently.Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form and solve problems involving several variables.Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb, and manipulate up to 50 pounds.Requires good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.Environment where pets are present.Experience, Education and/or Training:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.PHR/SPHR and/or AIRS certification is preferred.Six years of full lifecycle in-house corporate recruiting are required, with three years recruiting for senior level positions.Demonstrated working knowledge of sourcing, networking, qualifying, assessing, and interviewing.Expert level experience to perform searches that produce qualified candidates using various recruitment sources.Experience recruiting for large companies with a multi-unit presence is preferred.What We Offer – The Good Stuff:Competitive salary with paid time off & holidays.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Fertility and family-building assistance.Paid Parental leave.Practice Paid Basic Life Insurance.Practice Paid Short- and Long-Term Disability.Competitive referral program.401(k) Savings Plan with company match.Commuter Benefits.Legal Plan.Health Savings Account & Flexible Spending Account.Mental health support and resources.Paid Volunteering.Optimum Wellness Plans for pets.Continuing Education allowance.Student Debt Relief (for full-time DVMs).A Variety of discounts including Mars, PetSmart, Royal Canin, and more.Even More Good Stuff:Opportunities for growth and leadership roles.Health and well-being benefits.Associate-led equity, inclusion, and diversity groups.Opportunities to volunteer through Mars Volunteer Program.*Terms and conditions apply.**Benefits eligibility is based on employment status.WE ARE A DRUG-FREE, SMOKE-FREE, EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.Banfield Pet Hospital strongly supports and values the uniqueness of all individuals and promotes a work environment where diversity is embraced.
