The Procurement Analyst is responsible for analyzing the organization's procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance. The role involves collecting and analyzing data, evaluating suppliers, managing procurement software, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective sourcing strategies and adherence to procurement best practices. The Procurement Analyst will report directly to the Procurement Manager.Essential Functions of the Position:

Data Analysis: Collect and analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential areas for process improvement.Supplier Evaluation: Assess supplier performance based on key metrics such as price, quality, delivery, and overall service levels.Cost Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to optimize procurement costs and enhance value in the supply chain.Contract Management: Assist in the review and management of supplier contracts, ensuring terms are competitive and aligned with company objectives.Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis, supplier performance metrics, and cost trends.Market Research: Conduct research to stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and the availability of new products or suppliers.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, and logistics) to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with business goals.System Management: Manage and optimize procurement software and tools to streamline the procurement process.Risk Management: Monitor risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.2-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Knowledge of procurement best practices and supplier management strategies.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Certifications (optional): Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP), or similar credentials.This role typically operates in an office environment, with occasional travel to supplier sites as needed.Bay Cove Human Services does not offer visa sponsorships at this time and will require candidates to be authorized to work in the United States.Other details
