As a Software Test Engineer with IBM, your development activities at the Cyber Operations Branch program office adhere to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

SAFe offers proven, integrated principles, practices, and competencies to implement lead, agile, and DevOps at scale. Additionally, this program office personifies DevSecOps which automates the integration of security at every phase of the software development lifecycle from initial design, through integration, testing, deployment, and software delivery. These development efforts shall result in two deployable defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to USSF mission systems.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseDemonstrated working knowledge & experience in the following areas:

Agile software development, agile methodologies, agile project management, software project management, defensive cyber operations, software development life cycle managementVersion control, continuous integration, configuration management, deployment automation, containers, infrastructure orchestration, software testingExperience with code quality tools: Chef, Docker, Puppet, & scripting LinuxAt least four years (4) relevant experience performing activities in the Government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit or non-profit Government support, or development contractor arena.Programming Languages (at least 2):React, Angular, Python, JavaScript, CSS, & HTML, Databases, SQL, Gitlab, & antifactoryExperience or knowledge in the following areas:Agile methodologies, agile project management, software development life cycle management, program/project management, cross-functional team, agile software testing, test-driven development, software test planning, software test automation.

Minimum Requirements:Bachelors degree in STEM related specialty and 6 years professional experience; or Masters degree in STEM related specialty and 4 years' professional experience.Must have SAFe for Teams certification.Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 4 years related professional experience; Or Masters degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 2 years related professional experience.DoD Secret clearance required.Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseFamiliarity & knowledge:

SIMP Project, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQLSAFe for Teams certificationRelevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems CommandExperience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office
