Job Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist will support NRG's Services business and the Airtron team. This position provides HR support to management and employees in the following areas: HR policy, benefits, compensation, employee relations, recruiting support, and onboarding, as well as subject matter expertise relative to administrative, transactional processes, and data integrity.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Builds effective relationships with leaders, managers and employees to provide seamless HR support.Serves as an advocate and business partner by providing coaching and guidance to management and employees regarding policies, procedures and programs.Facilitates and improves the recruiting process by providing assistance with job descriptions, compensation analysis, approvals, and onboarding.Supports compensation program administration by preparing incentive plans and non-solicit/non-compete agreements.Performs audits of employee data to ensure data integrity.Coordinates and supports leave management for the Airtron business.Acts as liaison for the business and learning development and training resources.Provides positive customer service by responding to employees and managers on HR-related questions.Promotes employee and manager self-service with available systems and procedures.Identifies opportunities, takes initiative to continuously improve the effectiveness of current HR/business processes and practices.Manages and implements special projects as assigned.Working Conditions:Open office environment.Hybrid schedule 3 days in the office.Some overtime required as special projects arise.Minimal Travel - day travel to other locations, occasional overnight travel to other offices as needed.Minimum Requirements:High school diploma and 5 years of well-rounded HR experience in a generalist or business partner role supporting a client group in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.Strong employee relations experience.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Solid Microsoft Office skills to include Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.Recent experience supporting field-based or remote teams.HR experience supporting skilled trades, construction, hospitality, or consumer services.Experience working within an HRMS, SuccessFactors.Read the full posting.
