This is a joint consultant post between Nephrology and Acute medicine at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust to support our growing departments. The post holder will contribute and support the existing clinical and academic programme in chronic kidney disease, hypertension and dialysis services across the sector as well as contributing to on-call acute medicine provision at the Royal Free.This 10PA post will support nephrology service at both the Royal Free Hampstead and our kidney care centres while Acute Medicine and Same Day Emergency Care will be performed on the Royal Free Hampstead site.Main duties of the job

MBBS or equivalentRegistered with the GMC and within 6 months of entry to the specialist registerMRCP or equivalentPostgraduate medical degree (MD, PhD or equivalent) or experience in clinical researchExperience

Clinical training and experience as required to gain entry to the UK Certificate of Completed Training (CCT) in General or Acute (Internal) Medicine and Renal MedicineSubspecialty experience and training in dialysis and transplantationExperience of and commitment to medical audit.Experience of and commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teachingExperience of and commitment to leadership and service developmentCurrent ALS providerGetting vaccinated, and getting a booster, remains the best defence against COVID-19.
