Tax Accountant

Our client is a leading global alternative asset management firm. They seek a Tax Accountant to join their Los Angeles, CA office.

Responsibilities

Review and update capital summary workpapers for all funds

Assess and validate partner information for K-1/PFIC reporting

Record, track, and update K-1 allocations and disclosures

Maintain monthly withholding statements and allocations for all funds

Help generate turnover and unrealized gain/loss reports

Update tax adjustments for quarterly, draft, and final tax workpapers

Analyze realized reports for gross values and holding periods

Scan and upload invoices, K-1s, 1099s and state notices, as needed

Verify state, federal, and international tax filings for accuracy

Finalize K-1 and PFIC statements for presentation, accuracy, and disclosures

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

1-3 years of tax experience

Public accounting background

Experience with funds preferred

Open to industry background

Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented

Technically savvy
