Our firm is proud to have been recognized by numerous financial institutions and Fortune 500 Companies for our professional and ethical representation.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesManaging a large and growing legal staff in the creditor's right and related areas of law.Communicating with clients regarding current legal and regulatory issues and performance.Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and adherence to court procedures and processes.Qualifications and SkillsLicensed to practice in CAComplete knowledge of company policies and proceduresAdvanced knowledge of principles, practices and methods of creditor's rights and the legal processStrong knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework affecting the debt buying and debt collection industries including FDCPA, FCRA, GLBA and related state statutes.Technologically adept, with familiarity with software including Cogent or similar systems a plus.Ability to handle a high caseload effectivelyStrong critical thinking and strategic skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work with a team of attorneys and staff to develop strategies for a caseStrong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and work in a rapidly changing environment.Limited travel for court appearances and industry meetingsBenefits401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork ScheduleThis full-time position typically works Monday - Friday.
