Our client is a global investment management firm. They seek a Manager, Fund Accounting to join their Los Angeles, CA office.
Responsibilities
Prepare the books of pooled private investment funds
Handle the reconciliation of cash, investments, and real property
Record and reconcile purchase and sale transactions
Oversee the accounting for complex corporate actions
Estimate and post monthly closing accruals
Calculate income and expense allocations to each partner
Assess and prepare distributions and draw-downs
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Analyze performance metrics for partnerships/accounts
Liaise with independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, etc
Requirements
5+ years of accounting experience
Asset management experience preferred
Public (Big 4) or combo background
Organized with keen attention to detail
CPA strongly preferred
