We are looking for a Program Director - Substance Use Disorders to join our Clinical Team!

For over 66 years, Starlite Recovery Center has been providing adult clients in the heart of the Hill Country in Center Point, Texas, with caring and highly effective drug rehab for substance abuse, alcohol addiction, and co-occurring issues.Starlite Recovery Center is located in the Hill Country, approximately 20 minutes southeast of Kerrville, and approximately 30 minutes northwest of Boerne, Texas.

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the facility's therapeutic programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develop and maintain administrative and clinical operations that provide the highest quality care and best possible outcomes for the patients. Provide supervision to program staff.

Plan and implement program goals, objectives, personnel, resources and equipment. Implement the approved program plan objectives, timetables, expected outcome and measures for assigned areas of responsibility.

Oversee the program's budget and policies regarding participant involvement, program requirements, and benefits. Work may involve directing counselors, clinical staff or other facility / clinic staff involved in the delivery of services through the program. Organizes, manages and coordinates all operational and administrative processes.

Develop and implement operating policies and procedures for the program or organization; ensure procedures and workflow are consistent with organizational objectives, treatment protocol, regulations, and standards of care; ensure that operations conform to established environmental, safety, and infection control requirements. Identify opportunities to improve program's efficiency’s

Provide staff management to including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.

Responsible for an assigned caseload if applicable to the program.

Support, teach and act as a program resource for other staff members.

Provide direct care relative to diagnosis and therapeutic management independently, using consultation where appropriate.

Monitor staff schedules to ensure that appropriate staffing levels are available to facilitate care in a timely manner.

Develop and implement treatment plans, develop and maintain and audit charts and records for patients.

Serve as liaison and provide consultation with other staff on related issues, regulations, and standards pertaining to area of clinical specialty.

Provide outreach services in area of clinical specialty as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field required. Master’s degree in behavioral health preferred.

Four or more years’ experience working in behavioral health required.

One or more years’ management experience required.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

State of Texas License: LPC, LMFT, LCSW

CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).

First aid may be required based on state or facility.
