A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Senior Toxic Tort Associate Attorney with 5+ years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience. The ideal candidate will hold a Juris Doctor degree from a top law school and be licensed to practice law in California. This role involves taking and defending expert and witness depositions, drafting litigation documents, developing client relationships, and preparing for trial.Duties:Take and defend expert and witness depositions.Draft original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters.Draft discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties.Develop client relationships through oral and written communication.Prepare for trial including motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists.Requirements:Juris Doctor degree from a top law school.Licensed to practice law in California.5+ years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience.Experience in a billable work environment.Self-motivated individual with high energy willing to meet deadlines.Superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.Education:Juris Doctor degree from a top law school.Skills:Proficient in drafting legal documents.Ability to conduct legal research efficiently.Excellent interpersonal skills for client interaction.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
