Overview:C3Medical Unit

Patients are admitted to all private patient rooms under the Hospitalist services in this 27 bed unit. Common diagnoses include sepsis, cellulitis, gastrointestinal bleed, pneumonia, diabetic complications, and medical management pre- and post- liver transplant. C3s care team includes close collaboration with physicians, social worker, case management, and pharmacists to provide comprehensive care. Our care standards include bedside shift report, meaningful hourly rounding, and interdisciplinary care team rounds. This unit has an engaged Unit Based Clinical Leadership Team including hospitalists, social workers, case managers, and occupational therapists. C2 provides a vast array of clinical experiences including wound vacs, chest tubs, tracheostomies, and various other diagnoses. The teamwork and seniority on C3 speaks volumes to our turnover rate and quality outcomes.
