This may cause Handshake to work improperly.This position will also support the installation and operation life cycle of the Genedata Screener platform - both for installations on-premise and in the cloud on AWS - by configuring, installing, maintaining, monitoring, and updating the Genedata Screener platform and contributing to technical, quality, and process documentation. This full time position is based in our office in Lexington, MA (Boston area) and requires minimal travel (less than 10%).**Your Responsibilities*** Installation and updating software and hardware as needed (Windows, Linux, ESXi);* Monitoring, diagnosing and maintaining computer systems and networks;* Configuring, installing, monitoring and maintaining Genedata software products on AWS;* Setting up accounts for new users (within Active Directory, Exchange, etc.);* Setting up desks for new users (incl. monitor, phone, docking station, etc.);* Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate software and computer equipment;* Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems in a timely manner;* Organize and schedule software and hardware upgrades and maintenance;* Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.);* Coordinate with external service contract providers for hardware repairs that cannot be done in-house;* Document repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule;* Supporting global IT projects;* Office maintenance (assembly of office equipment).**Skills & Experience*** Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position;* Experience with Windows, Linux and ESXi Operating Systems;* Experience with Virtual Machine setup, configuration and maintenance;* Experience with one or multiple of the below is a plus:* Microsoft 365 incl. SharePoint & OneDrive Online* McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePo)* Windows Server Update Service (WSUS)* Windows Deployment Services (WDS);* Experience with AWS hosting environment, configuration and administration;* Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills;* Excellent communication ability;* Ability to work with global team;* Outstanding organizational and time-management skills;* Understanding of diverse computer systems and networks;* Knowledge of Internet security and data privacy principles;* A technical, logical thought process;* A keen eye for detail;* Team player;* Physically able to lift IT equipment, etc.;* Must be currently located in the United States;* Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer is required.
