Thompson's Auto group is looking for a Shipping and Receiving clerk for our GMC location
This position is responsible for properly receiving incoming inventory, timely staging and timely shipping outgoing orders while adhering to safety procedures and providing accurate, timely shipments.Receive all parts that are shipped in, making sure they are received in good condition and packing slips match the part and quantity receivedPack and ship orders to internal and external customers in the most efficient mannerMaintain shipping logsStock all parts in the parts warehouse after they have been checked inOperate fork lift truck when necessaryCross-check inventory accuracy with system entriesPrepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs.Contact carrier and schedule shipping for each package.Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as neededRequirements:
Must have a valid driver's licenseVery good driving recordAbility to stand for long periods of timeSelf-motivated, work with little supervisionQuick on accomplishing tasks givenPunctual start timeAble to work weekendsBackground checkBenefits:
