DescriptionChick-fil-A Wrigleyville is looking for a vibrant, talented Facilities Coordinator who will ensure all systems around building and equipment repairs & maintenance are executed with excellence to ensure a smooth operation and aid in our quickly growing business.We are looking for someone who is passionate about the Chick-fil-A brand, the frontline worker, and the hospitality industry. While this is a Facilities Coordinator role, guest service is at the heart of what we do - this position will require the individual to work in restaurant operations to supplement for full-time status. Responsibilities:Facilities & equipment budget managementManaging restaurant facilities and equipment maintenance calendarServicing equipment (pressure fryers, open fryers, grills, refrigeration systems, ice machine, HVAC, etc.)Setting up service for equipmentVendor managementOperations leadershipPreferred Qualifications:Degree in Facilities ManagementHVAC and Refrigeration certificationsPrevious Chick-fil-A experienceThe ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for working with their hands, technical knowledge/training, and a passion for serving others through hospitality.RequirementsMinimum 18+ years oldPrevious facilities and maintenance experienceMust be able to stand for long periods of timeAbility to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and lowFlexible Schedule - Late nights & weekendsOperations experienceAbility to lift/move 50+ poundsMust work well under pressurePrevious people leadership experiencePrevious budget oversight experienceCompany InformationIn our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that's all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade®.
