Job Title: Senior Cyber Security Analyst

Location :In office

3 days a week

in Austin Texas.

Overview:The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for providing comprehensivecyber security support to the assigned business unit. The Analyst will offerconsultancy, review and assess risks in various projects and initiatives, conductthorough risk assessments, and manage cyber issues and risks effectively. Strongworking experience in the AWS cloud environment and a solid understanding insecuring microservices, including APIs and Lambdas, is essential. The idealcandidate will have a robust understanding of security and privacy principles and bewell-versed in regulatory and compliance requirements affecting the business.

Key Responsibilities:•Support and maintain the company's Cyber Security Program by developing,implementing, and maintaining cyber security controls, standards, guidelines,and processes to ensure compliance is maintained and risk is managedeffectively.•Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure proper due diligenceis done to identify and address cyber security issues. Engage Cyber Securityservices to ensure comprehensive coverage of security measures.•Review Cloud security and third-party recommendations and work with thebusiness unit, IT, and infrastructure teams to address cyber issues.•Track and follow up on technology and cyber-related audit findings andactions.•Provide strong coordination and follow-up on business/IT requests, cyberissue remediation, and verification of controls implemented.•Conduct risk assessments and report on enterprise-wide and third-partysecurity controls, identifying, tracking, and managing cyber issues and risksfor the business unit, and maintaining the cyber security risk register.•Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance withPCI DSS, Privacy (CCPA, GDPR), and other regulatory requirements.•Support the management of audits, external assessments, and assuranceprocesses, including PCI DSS and NIST CSF. Conduct compliance readinessassessments and assurance activities against policies, standards, andrequirements.•Support the implementation of key security initiatives across the organisation,developing measurable cyber security standards that align with policy controlobjectives, and supporting user and specialist user education and awarenessexercises for employees.

•Develop and manage meaningful metrics to measure and track cyber risks,ensuring the effectiveness of the governance of the cyber security function,and assisting in the development of effective measurement and simplifiedreporting of cyber security risks within the business.•Assist with the development of measurable cyber security standards that alignwith policy control objectives.

Qualifications:•5+ years of experience within Cyber Security function.•Demonstrated experience in conducting cyber risk assessments andrecommending remediation measures.•Previous experience in cloud security, network security, and applicationsecurity in a complex environment is desirable.•Strong knowledge and experience with Industry Frameworks and Standardssuch as NIST CSF, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.•Strong working knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, especially AWS, andmicroservices (API/Lambda).•Strong oral and written communication skills.•Strong project management and coordination skills.•Qualification in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, orsimilar.•Professional security certifications such as Certified Information SystemsSecurity Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager(CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk andInformation Systems Control (CRISC), or similar are preferred.
