The Business Analysts role is to support sales operations by creating sales order management reporting, troubleshooting electronic order transmission, and managing EDI integration projects for ordering and invoicing. This will involve understanding the sales order lifecycle, extracting data from multiple systems, integrating it, verifying accuracy, and creating processes for business users to manage their accounts. This role will create governance around sales order management, provide technical support in software applications, collaborate with account managers and customers, and support tasks related to any EDI maintenance.

Essential Duties:

Work as part of the Sales Support Team to meet the overall ordering needs of the Sales Department; i.e. identify and define report needs proactively as well as when requested.Work with business stakeholders to identify project requests, needs and output.Provide timely data support to various teams with process improvements acumen.Automate reports where possible and discontinue redundant or unnecessary reports.Create analytical/self-service tools that help drive the business stakeholders to independently take control of their own data and quick insights.Trains users to use generated reports, integration functionality and provides technical assistance.Assist in the development and maintenance of a documentation initiative and define technical processes related to Shamrock Foods e-commerce integrations.Assists users to solve ordering problems including recreating steps to locate source of problem and creates check list to correct errors.Plans, designs, tests, and implements EDI mapping solutions to accomplish goals of user request.Analyzes and reviews 3rd party ordering platform functionality to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.Conducting root cause analysis based on data and process for EDI integration issues.Writes documentation to describe business procedures and integration logic.Help to develop and maintain an onboarding requirements package for prospective customer/vendor partners.Continuously learn current computer related knowledge and skills which include computer hardware, operating systems, databases, and programming languages that relate to data analysis and networking.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Math, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or another related fieldAdvanced in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, SQL, Data Visualization ToolsDemonstrated excellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external customersMust be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.Creative problem-solving skills, maturity to handle ambiguity, flexibility to perform in a dynamic environment, and ability to multitask across projects simultaneously.Formulate business recommendations and alternative solutions based on prepared and analyzed statistical data.Foods or supply chain industry experience is a plus.Familiarity with EDI protocols or transactions is a plus.Required Technology Skills:

Project Implementation, Customization, Upgrades, and Production SupportSQL query and basic report writingMust have excellent computer skills including strong Microsoft Office SkillsPower BI or Tableau experience is preferredMust be analytical and detail-orientedMust have the ability to self-manage workload and handle multiple tasksExcellent interpersonal communication and math/analytics skills
