As a Business Analyst with Resource Data, you will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing and documenting requirements as needed, including determination of system impact and software configuration. You will also participate with customers and internal functions as appropriate throughout the development, testing, and implementation processes.Key ResponsibilitiesEliciting, maintaining, and translating business requirements from customer needs into technical requirements for custom software solutionsWorking with project teams to document standards, project deliverables, and requirementsCollecting information through subject matter interviews, business documents, project notes, and other contextual informationDocumenting technical and business processes/workflows in narrative and diagrammatic forms following Resource Data, client, and industry standards and guidelinesCreating test and validation plans to ensure solutions meet business requirementsBasic Qualifications3+ years' experience on Agile software engineering teams writing business cases, gathering requirements, developing user stories, writing test documentation and more for custom software and COTS software development projects3+ years' experience with technical writing for audiences such as Software Engineers, System Administrators, or other IT and business professionalsAbility to build rapport and earn trust with client teamsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a closely related fieldWorked directly with customers in a consulting roleFamiliarity working with state government and natural resources industriesBA or PM experience on projects to modernize or migrate electronic licensing systemsCertifications: IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional, Technical Writing Certification, PMI - Agile Experience with software development project management tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA, Agile Place)#LI-HybridAbout UsFor more than 37 years, we've designed and built innovative technology solutions for our clients most complex challenges.
