Job Description
Salary Range: The expected pay range for this position is$160,000 to$175,000 yearly. The pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location. Overview: Citizant is seeking a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. This is an onsite position in Glynco, Georgia. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and solutions to protect the customer's systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, particularly in identifying and mitigating threats and vulnerabilities within cloud environments. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and solutions to protect Citizant's and client systems, focusing on identifying and mitigating potential threats and vulnerabilities. Conduct security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability analyses to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, particularly within cloud environments. Provide expert guidance on security protocols, tools, and technologies, ensuring the highest level of protection for systems and data across various platforms, including cloud infrastructures. Lead incident response efforts, ensuring swift identification, containment, and resolution of cybersecurity incidents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enforce security policies and protocols, maintaining alignment with federal cybersecurity standards. Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement of security measures. Contribute to the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans with a strong focus on security. Qualifications
7 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role, with a proven track record of managing complex security environments. Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, focusing on cloud security and penetration testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new threats and changes in the cybersecurity landscape. Proficiency in conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits, with a solid understanding of offensive and defensive security strategies. Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating complex cybersecurity concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments, ensuring the successful implementation of security initiatives. Detail-oriented and meticulous in designing, implementing, and managing security systems and protocols. Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
