We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to work in the DC Metro/Vienna, VA area. This position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will manage a project within IT Security Testing and Compliance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will provide planning, resource, budget, and time management, communication, and lead a team for a project that provides IT security services to the customer including IT security testing, security guide development and maintenance, and vulnerability scanning.

Hardening guide development and maintenance services : review and update approximately 100 hardening guides and create new hardening guides for identified technologyConfiguration Guide development and maintenance services : review and update configuration guides and create new configuration guides for identified technologyVulnerability Scanning : perform monthly and ad-hoc vulnerability and compliance scanning of all operating systems on services and workstations.Application Security : perform approximately 25 application security assessments per monthPenetration Testing : perform approximately 12 penetration tests per yearQualifications:

7 years of experience managing IT and cyber security programsExperience managing teams of a minimum of 10 direct reports.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, orally and in writingExcellent organizational skills supporting multiple projects while maintaining customer deadlinesAbility to work in a team environment and work independentlyProficiency in Microsoft suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, etcPreferred Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) active certificationBS/BA in IT, cybersecurity, business, or other related disciplineMS/MA in IT, Cybersecurity, business, or other related disciplineServiceNow experiencePhysical and Mental Qualifications:

Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)Able to lift up to 15 pounds.Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English languageExecute tasks independently and work as a team.Learns and memories routine tasks.Strong organizational, grammar, business correspondence, and self-management skillsCandidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily.
