This opportunity is onsite and located at : Greenway Plaza 5 Suite 200 Houston, TX 77046
The SCM Buyer is responsible for the procurement of goods and services. They will manage competitive sourcing events to include acquisition planning, sourcing strategies, market research, evaluating suppliers and negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules. Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable prices. Meet with internal stakeholders to discuss requirements, contractor performance, unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective actions. Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure suppliers comply with the terms and conditions of the contract and to determine the need for changes. This is a challenging and rewarding job that requires strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field with 5 years of procurement experience is required.
Ariba or other sourcing tools and Federal Procurement is preferred.
The pay range for this position is $45.00-$52.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
