- Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment modalities

- Proficiency in medication administration and management for mental health conditions

-Treat wide variety of mental illnesses and disorders: Anxiety, Depression, Eating Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Substance Abuse Personality Disorders to name a few

-Prescribe and monitor medications when necessary.

-Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress.

-Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Licensed in Maryland, DC, or VA.Active DEA license.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (no new graduates).Experience working with adult and/or adolescent populations.
