The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in international trade regulatory, compliance, and enforcement. Candidates should possess expertise with the Committee on Foreign Investments (CFIUS), United States export controls, and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). General knowledge of the Defense Priorities & Allocation System (DPAS) is preferred. The candidate must be admitted and actively barred in the state of Massachusetts.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert legal advice on matters involving CFIUS, United States export controls, and ITAR.Support the firm's practice by managing complex cases related to international trade regulatory compliance and enforcement.Assist in investigations and respond to regulatory inquiries concerning white collar crime and government investigations.Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure adherence to export controls and ITAR regulations.Represent clients in dealings with regulatory agencies and during enforcement actions.Draft and review legal documents, including responses to government inquiries, legal briefs, and case strategies.Conduct detailed legal research and analysis on international trade laws, regulations, and enforcement actions.Stay informed about changes in international trade regulations, government enforcement policies, and industry standards.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership and good standing with the state bar in Massachusetts.2-4 years of experience in international trade regulatory, compliance, and enforcement.Proven expertise with CFIUS, United States export controls, and ITAR.General knowledge of the Defense Priorities & Allocation System (DPAS) is preferred.Experience in supporting an active team in regulatory and compliance matters.Skills:In-depth understanding of international trade regulations, including CFIUS, export controls, and ITAR.Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills for client and regulatory interactions.Ability to manage multiple complex cases and regulatory issues efficiently.Experience in handling white collar crime and government investigations.Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively within a team and interact with clients.Company infoBCG Attorney Search225 Franklin Street, 26th floorBostonMassachusettsUnited States 02110Phone :
