Job Overview

EFI is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Display Graphics Product Management team in our Londonderry, NH office with an estimated three days onsite per week. Global travel to support various activities in EFI’s other plants and with our diverse customer base is required.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Display Graphics Product Management, the Senior Product Manager is responsible for the planning, delivery, and lifecycle of our entire Wide Format product line and meeting marketing, financial, and growth objectives. Duties include the development of roadmaps and market and competitive research and working closely with R&D/Engineering and other teams to deliver products. They will also identify the products’ key benefits and value propositions to create marketing plans and marketing and sales support tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Define the overall Wide Format product line strategy and roadmap

Manage the products throughout their lifecycles – from concept to end-of-life

Collect and manage requirements for new product releases; write product and market requirements documents

Partner with the Field and Channel Marketing team to develop, implement, and administer Channel strategies and programs focused on growing market share and profitability

Establish productive, professional relationships with key channel partner personnel

Oversee the technical development of new products and product improvements, and estimate profit potential and releases to production

Set pricing

Develop and deliver go to market launch plans

Run beta and early adopter programs and collect feedback

Research and analyze competitive products and distribute competitive intelligence

Provide core positioning and insights on key differentiators and messages to product marketing

Work with the Commercial team to carry out all sales and marketing strategies as well as setting and achieving company goals – be the recognized expert on the product, market, relevant technology, and the competition

Promote the products to the direct sales teams through sales training sessions and regular product updates

Manage product profitability and commercial success; monitor and report on product performance; collect feedback from sales and customers

Uncover opportunities for new products through market intelligence and voice of customer

Identify, create, nurture, and support opportunity progress with both new and existing customer

Build, maintain, and drive relationships with strategic industry partners

Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to assess and establish new partnerships

Education & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field required plus 10+ years’ experience in product management – ideally in the print industry or a capital equipment company

Experience working with dealers/channel, distributers, resellers, or OEMs is an advantage

Demonstrates exceptional leadership skills; developing, coaching/counseling, and motivating teams to achieve goals

Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups

Expertise in developing objectives and principles to achieve goals in creative and effective ways

Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

Highly dynamic and motivated professional with excellent presentation, communications and interpersonal skills

Knowledge and understanding of market trends

Possess excellent problem-solving skills and has a high level of attention to detail

Can build and effectively communicate process, structure, and productivity measures

Can work cross functionally, and leverage an effective communication style, including exceptional listening and influencing skills
