Content Marketing Leader/Managing Editor . Published by Kratos, Constellations informs working professionals in the global satellite and space industry about technology advances, business models and regulatory activities that are transforming the evolution of space-based communications.
We are seeking a proven Writer and Content Marketing Ace with at least five years of experience in journalism or marketing communications to lead content strategy and development for Constellations online magazine and newsletter. Primary responsibilities will include:
Developing story ideas and editorial calendars for Constellations and related programsWriting articles for publicationDeveloping and directing freelance contributorsConceiving inventive content communication ideas such as infographics and videosContributing to social media programs
Required Experience:Familiarity and experience with technology is strongly desired, especially experience in or writing about the space, telecommunication or IT industries, however most important is the ability to identify and tell compelling stories that readers care about.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must, including the ability to interact and work professionally with executives, government figures and industry leaders.Experience writing and promoting web content is valuable, with knowledge of SEO a plus, though not essential. Public relations experience is also helpful.BA/BS and minimum of five years of experience in journalism or other communications fields is required.Key skills include the ability to write well and on deadline. Excellent research, interviewing and editing skills are essential, as is thorough attention to detail.
