Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, fifteen or more years of water resources design and project management experience, and a PE license. Experience using Microsoft Office and design software and excellent verbal and written communication skills is also required. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 90 days of employment.Typical responsibilities include:Provide project management, technical planning, design and construction support on various stormwater, water and wastewater treatment and collection system projectsBecome the client manager for targeted key clientsActively participate in improving Wade Trim's visibility and brandPrepare engineering calculations and supporting analysis of alternativesDevelop and complete applications, permits, engineering reports and specificationsPrepare and review engineering estimatesPrepare design cost estimatesConduct research and development for projectsMonitor task budget and progressPrepare project status and other reportsCommunicate project details with other design engineersConduct project cost reviewsPromote salesPrepare and review scope, budget and schedule for project tasksAssist with proposals, marketing, project reports and technical presentationsConduct on-site inspections as neededAttend and/or conduct client and project meetingsAttend various meetings including pre-design, plan review, pre-construction, professional organization, staff, etc.Attend seminars and/or training classesMaintain excellent client relationsMaintain a safe working environmentEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering requiredMaster's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferredSkills/Experience:15+ years of related experience requiredLicensed Professional Engineer requiredPreferred experience in Pump Station Design, Pipeline Design, or Water/Wastewater TreatmentMicrosoft Office and design softwareAbout Wade Trim:Wade Trim is committed to maximizing the value of infrastructure investments.
