Overview

The Supplier Relationship Manager is responsible for supporting the Director of Claims Supplier Management in the implementation, process improvement, and optimization of all line of business programs. The Supplier Relationship Manager will be responsible for analytic measurement and improvement of line of business outcomes of their assigned programs. These programs will support all lines of business in Claims. This role will achieve outcomes by focusing on analytics, operations, and development of new programs to support organizational vision, and cost savings. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.Responsibilities

Serve as a business resource for operational data/analytic needs and establishing key performance indicators, identifying opportunities, and driving business goalsMonitor, analyze, and trend supplier data to assist the Director of Supplier Management in the development, implementation, and driving of key initiatives across all lines of businessOptimize programs for adjuster efficiency, streamlined claimant experience, and positive claim outcomeDrive the efficiency and effectiveness of our contracted partners.Identify opportunities to improve the business and resolve issues with current partner/process. Goal is to optimize third-party partnerships through proactive collaboration and mutually beneficial strategiesManage day to day supplier management issues interfacing with suppliers and internal staffAssist with resolving billing matters to ensure that accounts receivables are up to date and that submitted invoices are in line with rates outlined in the contractIdentifies best practices and trends in the industry, participates in evaluating new and emerging technologies to determine possible incorporation into claims programsParticipate in office operational reviewsPartner with Third Party Risk Management and Business Stakeholders to complete risk assessments for contracted vendorsIdentify and capture benefit/savings opportunities through contracting efforts, contracted vendor utilization improvement, billing accuracy or process improvementCoordinate and execute cross-functional initiatives (ie. IT, compliance, billing & payments, data & analytics), applying a strategic thinking, continuous improvement and thought leadership mindset in coordination with Claims operationsBuild strong partnerships and collaborate with cross-functional teams of internal stakeholders including line of business, IT, finance, risk, legal and strategic sourcing teams.Keeps current with market trends and demandsPerforms other functionally related duties as assignedQualifications

Required:Bachelor's degree in insurance, business administration, supply chain management, information technology, finance or related field8+ years of progressive experience in sourcing, contracting, vendor management, supply management, project management or partnership managementWorkers' Compensation Claims/Operational experienceProficient in data mining and data visualizationsExperience in insurance carrier setting or related industryEffective communication skills and comfortable presenting in front of Senior LeadershipProficiency in all Microsoft Office products including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePointPreferred:10+ years of progressive experience in sourcing, contracting, vendor management, supply management, project management or partnership managementExperience with multiple lines of businessPrior leadership experienceWhat We Offer
