Position Description:The Director of Donor Database Administration and IT Support oversees the administration of the organization’s database of record, Raiser’s Edge. This role will implement data governance policies and procedures to establish data management guidelines and ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of data. This individual will oversee data integrations processes to facilitate seamless data flow between systems and applications. The successful candidate will have experience working with the database of record (Raiser’s Edge) as well as strategic and long-range planning and implementation of system-wide database solutions. This individual will also provide IT support to staff on help-desk issues and help advance the technological initiatives of the organization.Primary Responsibilities:Database Security:

Maintain and secure the database by setting policies and processes and enforcing standards and controls. Set-up and maintain security for all user accounts.Systems’ Support:

Point-person for Blackbaud support, i.e. system incidents and specific user questions. Determine best way to address/resolve.Database Maintenance:

Conduct regular audits to ensure database integrity. Improve the effectiveness of the database by updating and scrubbing records. Confer with co-workers to determine impact of database changes on systems and cost for making changes to database.Training:

Train and support others in the daily use of the database and ensure adherence to legal and company standards. Recommend Blackbaud training sessions.Data Creation:

Creation of complex queries, exports, imports, reports, and data files. Run updates and run custom reports; research new options to create and design. Import and export of data from various systems.Integrations:

Manage weekly integration between databases (Luminate Online and Raiser’s Edge).IT Support:

Support staff with IT needs including help-desk support, collaborate with our 3rd party vendor on open service tickets, support meeting set-ups and conference room capabilities. Work with Senior Director of IT on procuring and deploying of hardware and technology enhancements as necessary.Technical Proficiency:

Collaborate and support Senior Director of IT with creating and customizing technology systems for optimized performance; research current and new industry trends, technologies and software development.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or two to ten years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge, NXT or other CRM experience required.Familiarity with Omatic, Luminate Online, BI reporting, Zengine, or Salesforce a plus.Strong technical skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.Previous experience with data entry; managing multiple tasks and priorities.Willingness to learn.Strong attention to detail.Customer-service oriented.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem solve.Comp TIA certification(s) are a plus.Benefits Include:Base salary (commensurate with experience)Comprehensive insurance package (medical, dental, vision, etc.)403 (b) retirement plan with a competitive contribution programPaid time offWalking distance to Glenview Metra train stationApplication Process:Please apply with a resume, to Human Resources at HR@wgaesf.org.About the Evans Scholars Foundation | Western Golf Association:Since 1930, the Evans Scholars Foundation (ESF) has provided full tuition and housing scholarships to deserving caddies.
