Contract AdministrationRead the prime contract and ensure all reporting obligations and deliverables are identified and complied with.Hold customers, subcontractors, and vendors accountable to the performance of the agreements.Develop a plan to ensure proper allocation of materials and resources.Setup and manage document control system including drawings and specifications, submittals, RFIs, correspondence, meeting notes, etc.Review submittals for proper coordination and adherence to the plans and specifications.Lead progress, planning, and safety meetings.Responsible for mobilization activities on the project; work with the superintendent on matters such as site security, temporary power, utility connections, placement of office trailers, and locations for stored materials.Perform a detailed review of subcontractor bids and issue agreements when negotiations have been concluded.Administer tasks associated with completion of a project, including closeout documentation and completion reports.Review and evaluate subcontractor pay applications, approve and code invoices and sign pay requests.Monitor subcontractors and vendors for adherence to performance and payment obligations.Prepare closeout documents and submit customer pay requests.Distribute change requests for pricing and schedule impact.Provide preconstruction services to assist customers in project evaluation and development.Cost and Productivity ManagementAnalyze and be responsible for budget and quantity updates for job cost reporting.Ensure daily time and quantity reporting is completed timely and accurately.Develop innovative methods for increasing efficiency and profitability on the project.Review productivity reports with the project team at regular intervals.Manage the change order process to assure comprehensive evaluation and execution of all change orders.Project profit/loss accountability to include proper project controls.SchedulingEnsure project is completed within the contract requirements.Fully develop and maintain the project schedule.Review “Look Ahead” schedules and schedule updates.QualityEnsure project is completed to all applicable quality requirements.Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and quality reviews.RelationshipsProvide leadership to the project team to promote safety, quality, and efficiency.Develop and maintain the trust of customers, owners, and engineers.Safety and EnvironmentalLead the project team to achieve safety performance objectives.Ensure all environmental obligations required by the contract are fulfilled.Technical/QualificationsFour-year Undergraduate Degree in technical discipline.PMP certified or able to achieve certification within 1 year.Understanding of engineering or construction principles.Ability to forecast cost for self-performed work.OtherPerform other duties as assigned.Austin Industrial is an Equal Opportunity Employer.No Third-Party Inquiries Please.Accessibility Note:
