We promote an inclusive work environment that creates feel-good moments for everyone.Job DescriptionThe Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Marketing and Communications team is responsible for the development and execution of the organization’s global marketing and communications strategies. Within that area of responsibility, the team oversees the RMHC brand including compliance, consistency, positioning and communication across the entire RMHC Chapter system in 62 countries and regions. The Marketing & Communications team creates the brand strategy and guidelines while serving as a brand consultant for the individual Chapters. In addition, the team drives Global tactics that support and increase awareness for the brand and the RMHC mission. Global tactics include: planning, development and implementation across paid, owned and earned media; direct response marketing and fundraising efforts - including email and direct mail, digital and social media content and campaign creation; public relations; crisis communication; advertising; content management across the rmhc.org website; and corporate marketing activation. The team also manages the interface between RMHC and the McDonald’s Global/U.S. Marketing and communications relationships to ensure continuity and promote co-brand building.RMHC has an immediate opening for a Global Brand Manager to lead the RMHC brand & content strategy, guidelines and governance policies to ensure consistency across the RMHC system and for the Global organization. The Global Brand Team supports the RMHC Global Team as well as the RMHC system made up of over 255 Chapters and manages the work of creative agency partners. The Global Brand Manager reports to the RMHC Global Marketing & Communications Director.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild upon and maintain brand positioning and communications pillars.Implementation of a comprehensive content strategy for the Global organization that aligns with our business goals and objectives to drive brand awareness, grow donors and build brand engagement.Work cross-functionally to develop critical communication plans that effectively communicate our brand’s mission, vision and purpose.Development of annual and seasonal campaign plans, including strategy, timelines/editorial content calendars & deliverables.Create agency creative briefs and manage creative reviews/output.Partner cross-functionally with channel managers (website, social media, email, internal newsletters, etc) to ensure consistency across external platforms.Manage brand & content guidelines.Employ and maintain brand governance practices to ensure consistency throughout the RMHC system and for the Global organization.Develop and employ a measurement and reporting process for Global led marketing campaigns, working with cross-functional partners to develop succinct insights with actionable takeaways.Manage brand reputation surveys and approach in partnership with agency partners.Analyze consumer trends to find opportunities to drive increased awareness and engagement through targeted content and campaign development.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.7+ years proven marketing or brand management experience in a relevant role; agency, corporate, brand and/or non-profit.People management experience.Exceptional written, verbal and storytelling/communication skills.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and proven ability to work with multi-disciplined teams.Strong understanding of diverse cultural audiences and using key cultural insights to drive communications strategies.Organized, resourceful, with excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills, and the ability to work within tight deadlines while still maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Demonstrated understanding of the philanthropic landscape and community.Experience with design / photo / video editing software (such as Canva, Photoshop or Adobe Premiere Pro) is a plus.Embraces Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and demonstrates a personal commitment to valuing different backgrounds and life experiences.Contributes to an inclusive culture, ensuring everyone feels valued and can fully contribute based on their unique talents, skills and perspectives.
