Overview:Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Roadway Project Manager to expand our Roadway practice in our Atlanta Midtown office!Responsibilities:Expand our practice and presence in the local market focused on roadway, highway and/or municipal projectsComplex engineering design tasks as well as marketing, client engagement, and the growth of the roadway design practice in local and/or surrounding marketsManaging the design and delivery of projects profitably while being actively engaging in design issuesLeadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principalsProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading a roadway practiceManage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorQualifications:12+ years of relevant experience managing roadway projectsRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseExperience successfully winning and delivering work in the local and/or surrounding areasKnowledge and experience with the full life cycle of roadway projectsExperience and relationships with local agencies and/or local municipalitiesKnowledge in the civil design of local roadways, urban freeways and/or interchangesExperience with multi-use trails and complete streets projects is preferredDemonstrated ability to manage roadway projects profitably, while leading a team and collaborating key stakeholdersExperience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected workWhy Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
