Project HVAC/Utilities Engineer
who has a desire to contribute to our clients' success and is looking for new learning experiences and opportunities for career growth. This position will be working out of the
Green Bay, WI
office or
remote
location.Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate with other project disciplines as requiredDevelop equipment specificationsWork with clients, vendors, and suppliers to develop cost estimates and provide input for proposalsDevelop mass energy balancesDevelop process and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs)Develop equipment lists, line lists, and POC listsDevelop operation specificationsWork with designers to create drawingsWrite installation scope documentsSupport on-site construction and installation effortsSupport checkout/start-up efforts associated with project workCoach and mentor others as requiredOn-site surveys to determine existing conditionsTravel as needed with anticipation of 25% annuallyRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience5+ years of experience with Industrial HVAC systems and other utility systems (steam, chilled and hot water, compressed air, CO2, Refrigeration, etc.)Required previous experience with the following:
Engineered Package development including Scope of Work, P&IDs, & Mechanical Equipment Arrangements.Process and utility system piping and ductwork designDeveloping Equipment SpecificationsDetermining Code Compliance for new and existing systemsPreferred Qualifications:
Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtainExperience utilizing 3D design tools (Revit, Plant 3D, VR, and 3D Scans)Mass Energy Balance of Utility Systems (Peak Load and Energy modeling Calculations)Experience with LEED certified projectsSanitary design requirements for food systems (3A, FDA, SQF)The base compensation listed for this job posting reflects a general range for the posted position. Base compensation will vary based on factors such as: years of experience, location, level of responsibility and licenses/certifications. In addition to base compensation, Foth members may be eligible to receive bonuses through our Earned Performance Incentive program. All employees are eligible for On-the-Spot bonuses. Exempt members are also eligible for either quarterly and/or annual bonuses. Eligible full-time and part-time members will be offered medical, dental, vision insurance, employee assistance program, disability, retirement, holiday pay, and several other voluntary benefits. Regular full-time members are also eligible for paid time off.Note: In some situations, we may consider an alternative position based on your skill set and experience.
