Your Role on the Team

Under the direction of the Senior Associate Athletic Director, the Field Operations Manager directs all facility operation services related to fields and stadiums. Job responsibilities include planning & budget management of all athletic field maintenance, including irrigation and drainage systems; purchasing and procurement services; management of student staff; oversight of the baseball stadium operations; venue preparation for intercollegiate and external activities; management and maintenance of all field equipment; management of the sports field painting/striping functions; assist with major construction and minor renovation projects; facility management and maintenance responsibilities for Anteater Track Stadium, Anteater Ballpark, Anteater Tennis Stadium, and the Crawford Athletic Fields.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $75,000.00- $89,000.00.

Required:

Advanced knowledge of program activity and best practices.Problem-solving skills; multi-task, work with frequent interruptions, and effective listener.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.Proficiency in the use of computer applications relevant to job duties.Ability to exercise sound judgment to handle sensitive and confidential information/material with discretion.Superior public relations skills, including outstanding interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships and correspondence with students, staff, faculty, visiting coaches, and Big West and NCAA officials.Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.3-5 years working collegiate or professional field management.

Preferred:Working knowledge of university purchasing and accounting policies and procedures.Knowledge of building and landscape maintenance management, including coordination through University Facilities Management.

Special Conditions:Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
