Lead Government Accounting Analyst

to join the Accounting & Government Compliance organization. This position will report directly to the Director of Government Accounting & Compliance. It will support government accounting and compliance activities such as developing and submitting direct and indirect rate proposals; participating in numerous DCAA/DCMA financial and business system audits; and analyzing and reporting of indirect rates, general ledger details, project expenditures, and unallowable costs.Responsibilities will include:Collaborate with Finance, Contracts, Program Management, and Business Systems teams to implement, reconcile, and/or maintain ERP modules to ensure compliance with applicable accounting and business system criteriaReview, interpret, and provide guidance on US Government accounting and compliance reporting requirements, rules, and regulations such as CAS, FAR, DFARS, and AMSLead in the development, preparation, and subsequent support for US Government audits of the company's forward pricing rates and final incurred cost proposalsLead and/or participate in numerous DCAA/DCMA financial and business system audits as requiredCoordinate, develop, and analyze monthly reports of indirect rates, general ledger details, project expenditures, and unallowable costsDevelop, enhance, and lead procedures and process improvements to support internal analyses and external government reportingAnalyze and maintain cost accounting information in the financial system to ensure accuracy and compliance with US Government accounting regulationsMentor and provide ad hoc accounting and financial support as requiredCompensation Range:

$94,800-$120,900The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.Skills and Experience:Required - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business15+ years of relevant experience (13+ if Master's/MBA)Required Qualifications:Strong analytical and communication skillsStrong organizational and effective time management skills with ability to multi-taskStrong attention to detail and accuracySelf-starter and highly motivatedProficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Comfortable interfacing with financial and cross-functional teams to work effectively across multiple levels of the organizationAbility to achieve competing deadlines and lead projects when requiredAbility to interface with various US Government and internal teams to support accounting and business system audits and reviewsFamiliarity with US Government rules and regulations such as CAS, FAR, DFARS, and AMSDesired Qualifications:Familiarity with ERP systems such as IFS preferred but not requiredCitizenship Requirements:Must be a U.S. citizen.
