Acquisition NexGen is currently in search of an Administrative Assistant / Executive Assistant for a large Federal Client in the DC Metro Area.This is a long-term Contract position.Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday onsite / Friday remote.Candidates with experience supporting Federal Clients are highly preferred.Summary:Supporting clients in planning, coordinating, and leading meetings, and keeping contents of meetings focused.Assisting with the tracking, managing and responses to clients, including handling travel requests for C-Suite.Excellent organizational and written communication skills; capability to clearly and succinctly define problems and outline solutions.Experience planning and implementing multi-stakeholder sessions.Experience processing pre-travel, travel requests, authorizations, and vouchers.Ensure that staff attends meetings; coordinate all meeting materials and provide to the staff prior to the meeting.Coordinate the preparation of a variety of items such as travel requests, professional service orders, requests for sponsored travel, outside activities, official duty memoranda, leave authorizations, training requests, individual/mass mailings, correspondence, reports, and various forms.Coordinate meeting planning and logistical arrangements, including room and audiovisual reservations, WebEx, and other remote connection arrangements; prepare and transmit agendas and relevant materials; contact and communicate with participants; prepare and distribute meeting minutes.Act as focal point and primary initial contact for matters concerning the Office.Coordinate the day-to-day office operations, including, but not limited to problem and conflict resolution, organization, and prioritizations of tasks; respond to written communications.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University.1+ years of experience in a professional office setting, including experience supporting Executive / C-Suite staff.Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC up to 4 days per week.Expert-level experience with Microsoft Office Suite.Experience providing executive level support including tasks such as calendar management, meeting or travel planning, distributing minutes, or expense processing.Qualified Candidates should send a Word/PDF attached copy of their resume to Scott Gilinger at scott.gilinger@acqnexgen.com.
